Paul Polman, PepsiCo, Amazon and Unilever headline 2026 Sustainable Packaging Summit as registration opens.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Sustainable Packaging Summit, taking place 10 to 12 November at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. The three-day event will bring together 1,000 packaging professionals for panels, keynotes, workshops and networking focused on real, scalable solutions to packaging's sustainability challenges.

This year's edition will be headlined by some of the most influential voices in sustainable business. Former Unilever chief executive Paul Polman and PepsiCo's Archana Jagannathan lead a speaker programme that also includes senior representatives from Amazon, Mars, AB InBev, Mondelez, Nestlé, McDonald's, Nike, Lidl, LEGO and Walmart, alongside innovators, regulators and NGO leaders from across the packaging value chain.

The programme spans the full breadth of packaging's sustainability agenda: the business case for circular transformation, the latest implications of PPWR and EPR regulation, lessons from reuse pilots, advanced recycling, AI-driven innovation, and the evolving landscape for paper-based packaging. Interactive debates will sit alongside closed-door workshops, giving attendees space for both broad discussion and focused problem-solving.

The overriding idea of this year's Summit is identifying viable solutions to packaging's sustainability obligations. The mission is bringing together the diverse viewpoints of business leaders, tech disruptors, EPR specialists and regulators and channelling their insights into joined-up impact. It's the one place where you can hear a Fortune 500 chief executive and a European Commission official speak openly about their challenges on the same stage, and then continue that conversation over a drink.

Tim Sykes, Brand Director at Packaging Europe.

Attendees represent the full packaging ecosystem: brand owners, converters, material producers, recyclers, logistics experts, labellers, industry associations and NGOs.
