Our story begins 60 years ago by the passion and initiative of those who even then were working with a strong inclination to innovation and the market.

Today SILFA can be mentioned among the most important companies specialised in production of metal containers for the chemical industry, food and fancy boxes. Our packaging, with a large range of capacity are square, rectangular, conical and cylindrical, and in countless other formats.

The presence of our packaging in a plurality of sectors, from the chemical (paints, varnishes, inks and adhesives), food industry (tomato, fruit and coffee), petrochemical (oils, lubricants and solvents) up to the fancy boxes, allows us to have a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and problems related to the use of metal packaging.

Conical steel drums

Conical steel drums with standard capacity of 220 litres – 58 gallons with these features:

• usable in combination with aseptic wrappings, in order to preserve tomato concentrate, fruit, mashed food
• drums can be piled up and stacked for a drastic reduction of stocking space and transport costs, and sealed with iron lid with galvanic ring or plastic lid
• drums can be painted inside with epoxy phenol varnishes suitable for contact with food stuffs and outside with rustproof varnish in the requested colours
