At INFOFLEX 2023, X-Rite will demonstrate how the eXact 2 spectrophotometer connects to an ecosystem of specification, formulation, and quality control software directly on the touch screen for precise colour quality control in the flexographic process.

X-Rite Incorporated and Pantone LLC, will showcase a connected ecosystem of colour measurement solutions to transform the flexographic and packaging colour workflow process.

Attendees will experience firsthand how the next-generation eXact™ 2 handheld spectrophotometer connects to a software ecosystem, including InkFormulation Software and ColorCert® Suite, to bring the print and packaging workflow together in one device for improved quality control and productivity.

In addition, X-Rite will chair a session at INFOFLEX on the value of colour measurement with leading flexographic printers.

"Packaging printers that work with different substrates need colour management solutions that reduce the need for multiple devices, screens, and workstations in a busy prepress, ink room, and on the production floor," said Jon-Michael McCartney, Director Print and Packaging, X-Rite. "The new eXact 2 is designed to streamline the colour workflow by combining imaging technology, spectral engine, scanning, and advanced software integrations in one device."

You can visit X-Rite at INFOFLEX in booth #231.
