Minimized product losses – increased efficiency

The innovative handling solution, being presented to the European market for the first time at iba, gently groups sandwich cookies in the desired quantity and places the products on-edge in trays or directly into the infeed of a flow wrapping machine. Gentle handling, carefully balanced at high speed, guarantees an efficient packaging process and avoids product damage. Evenly aligned in the tray or flow wrap, the cookies impress with their quality and with optimal presentation when the package is opened. Visitors can experience the advantages of the count feeder for themselves during live demonstrations at the Syntegon booth in Hall 9, Stand A30.

Syntegon offers answers to current industry challenges

Daniel Bossel, product manager at Syntegon, said: The new count feeder expands our broad portfolio of handling options and complements Syntegon's system solutions. With highly flexible packaging systems that are tailored to the cookie and cracker industry, we are addressing key challenges faced by our customers. The industry is facing complex challenges today: A shortage of skilled workers and increasing cost pressure require highly automated solutions that are not only efficient but also very flexible. At the same time, the variety of products is growing - from classic biscuits to health-conscious variants such as gluten-free or sugar-reduced cookies. These products require particularly gentle processing.

As a leading supplier of packaging technology, Syntegon offers a wide range of packaging solutions and services for the cookies and cracker industry. From individual packaging machines to fully integrated, fully automated systems, the portfolio covers all industry requirements. Whether sensitive premium cookies or robust crackers - the systems process both at high speed. Additionally, they guarantee low product breakage while ensuring maximum performance and efficiency on a compact footprint. The Syntegon portfolio is complemented by comprehensive services and digital solutions to improve processes.

Trade fair visitors can learn more about the diverse packaging solutions for cookies and crackers in person at iba in Düsseldorf from May 18 to 22, 2025 and get to know Syntegon as a packaging specialist. Syntegon will be presenting their innovation in Hall 9, Stand A30.
