Mountain View Printing, based in Calgary, has embraced the Epson SurePress L-6534VW UV digital label press for its colour labels and speedy turnarounds. With a focus on customer service, the company found in SurePress a solution that provided more accurate labels and quicker results for various brands.

Partners Chandler and Gary Fairgrieve-Park explored several label printing options and recognised that the Epson SurePress L-6534VW was their path forward. With features like Digital Varnish enhancement, speed, ease of use, and a compact footprint, the SurePress met their requirements perfectly.

From its humble start in a 500-square-foot warehouse in 1985 to its current 18,000-square-foot space with over 40 employees, Mountain View Printing has evolved. The company serves diverse industries, including pharmaceutical and manufacturing, helping local brands achieve growth through effective printing solutions.

Chandler emphasises the SurePress's speed as a catalyst for business expansion. Meanwhile, Fairgrieve-Park highlights how the SurePress enables them to meet colour standards for clients. The Digital Varnish feature adds a unique selling point that has already begun to capture attention among clients.

B.J. Chandler, founder and partner, Mountain View Printing, said: We purchased our first label press in the spring of 2019 to create labels for customers in a timely fashion. When the pandemic started in 2020, we had customers approaching us with requests for hand sanitizer labels, and from there, the business really grew. We started printing beer, cannabis and food labels, and the original machine we had purchased simply couldn't keep up.
Between the Digital Varnish enhancement capabilities, ease-of-use, speed, and small footprint, we felt the SurePress was the best solution to fit our needs and support our ongoing growth.

Incorporating Digital Varnish might still be gaining traction, but its value is becoming evident, making the Epson SurePress L-6534VW an obvious choice as more businesses come on board.
